Travis Echols is non-stop in his drive to put out music and tell his stories. That is true of the three new tracks he has dropped over the last month. Working with frequent collaborators to uplift the West Virginia hip-hop scene has been a constant refrain in Echols music. Check out the three new tracks below to see what he’s been up to.

The first track dropped on Christmas Day of 2025 and is entitled “Every Step That I Take” and features frequent collaborator Szeshwan Kenobi.

Of the song Echols says it “is about realizing you’re falling into a dark place or unhealthy habits and life and recognizing it and working against it to pull yourself out of that place. Listen to it HERE.
The second track “The Further I Fall”is all about addiction and mental health issues. It written from the perspective of someone who is hopeless and sees no way out of it. The track featuring Szeshwan and Todd White released on New Year’s Eve and you can listen to it HERE.

“Laylas Song” is the final song of the trio and Travis describes it as a tribute to his daughter. “It’s about my love for her sure but more about how she has molded me to be the person I am now and saved me from some of my own bad habits and ways of thinking.
This track is different from what Travis is known for. Musically it has only guitar and vocals from Echols and White. Listen to it HERE.

As for what’s next Echols says, “I’m still performing as much as possible with Todd White and Szeshwan Kenobi. The next show is at the Empty Glass on the January 24th with The Heavy Hitters. I plan on to drop singles consistently and to continue to push deeper into mixing genres and styles in my music.”
