Grace Campbell is having a great run in music. Last year saw her release her first full length album “Bloom” and being named “Women Who Rock” which saw her open for Melissa Etheridge. All of that success deserves more music and that’s what we got this week in the form of a new song called “Goodbye.” This song reminds us of early Maroon 5 before they became synth laden pop. Grace’s vocals adds another dimension to the music that ends up creating her own style that can best be described as jazz pop. If you’ve never listened to Grace Campbell, let “Goodbye” be your hello,

Caleb Lovely dropped a full length album today entitled “Say I Do.” If the songs from this album aren’t getting played on your local country radio station, then there is something wrong with radio. (There is, but that’s another article.) These tracks are perfect summer into fall music. This is the kind of soundtrack you imagine as you drive down a back road with someone you love or that late summer swim in a lake as fall begins to take over. Listen to “When It Comes” below.

It really is AST summer! A Story Told dropped yet another summer banger that requires a night time drive with the windows down and your best friends in the car jamming out to this track. “Ugly Cry” shows that AST has perfected the art of pop songs that are sad as all get out yet make you happy at the same time. We don’t know what to feel but we know it’s an awesome song! Listen to it below.

Philip Bowen teamed up with Julia DiGrazia for the track “Hurricane.” The pairing gives us a perfect harmony for a song about a relationship that is anything but harmonious. The narrative sees two people fighting for their love that can’t take one more hit. One of our favorite parts outside of the melody is when Bowen uses his fiddle for a build up that feels like the storm they’re fearing. As a commenter on YouTube said “I don’t think you’re capable of making a bad song.” We tend to agree. Listen to the sorrowfully beautiful song below.
We are going to need you to pause for a second before you take in this new track from Van Gilder.
Ok, if you think you’re ready, which we still don’t think you are, listen to “Solar Eclipse” below. Beautiful, soulful, silky, music to make love to and contender for song of the year, would all be terms we’d use to describe this new track. If you think we are overhyping it go listen to it and get back to us. Check out “Solar Eclipse” now.

Soda Pop Gypsies continue their train of tracks with a new song “Vagabond.” The alt rock track starts with a low-fi intro before going full bore into your ear drums. This band seems to grow more and more with each new release and they definitely feel like they’re heading to the next level in their career. The grooves and guitar riffs on this song would have them sharing stages with the likes of Carlos Santana if the universe was as fair as it should be. Give “Vagabond” a listen and get on the train with them.
