“Heritage and Legacy” Pre-Sale to Launch on West Virginia Day
We at Born & Bred are thrilled to announce a new book project lunching soon! “Heritage and Legacy: a collection of biographical stories of West Virginia musicians,” written by Steve Goff and illustrated by Ed Mac, will launch its exclusive pre-sale event this Friday, June 20th, coinciding with West Virginia Day. Each artist featured has been inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall Of Fame. This special pre-sale offers readers the first opportunity to acquire a signed copy of what promises to be a significant addition to West Virginian literature and art. The pre-sale event will include additional opportunities to support the project.
“Heritage and Legacy” delves into the rich tapestry of West Virginia’s history, culture, and enduring spirit, brought to life through Goff’s evocative storytelling and Mac’s stunning illustrations. About the Author, Steve Goff: Steve Goff, former President of West Virginia Writers, Inc., is a respected music critic whose reviews have graced the pages of Goldmine, Stereo Review, and Hit Parader. An avid collector, he’s currently sharing his passion by selling off his 8,000-piece vinyl collection through his Days Of Vinyl Roses business. Steve is also an accomplished improv coach and resides at Lake Floyd near Salem, WV.
About the Illustrator, Ed Mac: Ed McMillan, also known as “Ed Mac,” is a multifaceted artist based in Shinnston, WV. While he’s best known for his tattoo work at Pike Street Tattoo in Bridgeport, WV, Ed’s creative talents extend far beyond the needle. An accomplished painter and muralist, his artistic vision is evident across various mediums. Beyond the visual arts, Ed is also a dedicated musician, lending his drumming and songwriting skills to the Orlando-based ska band “Fat Timmy” and the Shinnston, WV-based country band “A.M. Benson & The Stations.”
