Philip Bowen has dropped “Sure Could Use The Rain,” a new track featuring Josiah and the Bonnevilles. This collaboration blends Bowen’s Appalachian-rooted sound and fiddle prowess with Josiah and the Bonnevilles’ folk-Americana style. The song uses the imagery of rain to explore themes of longing for a time where the vices we use to numb our pain can cause us to lose everything we have. The vocals here blend perfectly and once again Bowen knocks it out of the park. Listen below.

The Farside are synth pop gurus and that is clear on their new track “Sooner or L8r” which sees lyricist and singer Adam Fox revisit a theme from their previous iteration Wait For It which they explored on their track “79.” Fox says the song is a summer song that talks about years that have gone by in a blink. Listen to this pop gem below.

Chris Haddox has never shied away from dipping his toes into political waters and using his platform as to express his views. That is very clear on this new song “History Will Never Celebrate You.” The song talks about egomania that runs rampant in the current culture of politics. It also is a fantastic example of Haddox’s lyrical abilities and storytelling. Musically it’s going to be awesome because it’s Chris. But you can find out for yourself by listening below.

Band on the rise, Andrew Parsons dropped an ep that is a perfect summary of why we think this artist is bound for greatness. His voice is fantastic on these tracks and his ability with lyrics is impressive. The title track “The Wrong Way” finds a young man struggling with perfection and not wanting to mess life up. Well, from everything we’ve heard and seen, he’s well on his way to getting it right. Listen below.

Soda Pop Gypsies don’t stop. Continuing their run of single drops is a new track “Liar Liar” that lets powerhouse vocalist Jamie Kittle show off her range and rock abilities. The song feels like an Appalachian tribute to Bon Jovi mixed with a western shoot out between a woman scorned and a man who has it coming. Listen below.
