The legendary Alice Cooper is releasing a brand-new album titled “The Revenge of Alice Cooper,” and it’s a momentous occasion as it reunites him with the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band: guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith. This marks their first full studio album together in over 50 years! But why are we at Born & Bred writing about it?

Adding a fresh and electrifying energy to this reunion is the incredibly talented Gyasi, a Nashville-based musician originally hailing from West Virginia. Gyasi is the lead guitarist on “The Revenge of Alice Cooper,” stepping into the shoes of the late, great Glen Buxton. His dynamic and proficient guitar work is sure to inject a vibrant spirit into the classic Alice Cooper sound.

From Gyasi’s Instagram: “The telephone is ringing! Well, looks like the cats out of the bag. Thrilled to announce that I was asked to honor the role of the late Glen Buxton and be the lead guitarist on this record with this group of wonderful guys: It’s the first Alice Cooper record with the original lineup since 1973. It’s called ‘The Revenge of Alice Cooper’ and you can listen to the first single ‘Black Mamba’ now, which also features the legendary Robby Krieger (of the Doors) on guitar Can’t wait for you to hear the rest. It’s true to form old school Alice Cooper and it rules.”
