Listen to all of the amazing West Virginia Music on our Spotify Playlist and Apple Playlist.

The Born & Bred Artist Of The Year, Alabaster Boxer has released their first single since their 2024 live album and what a song to drop! They only get better with each new song. Is this their “Piano Man?” Yes, and we are here for it. This song, “The Holiest Ghosts” is an epic masterpiece that sings the tale of a man on the stage struggling with the state of life and death, the space in between, and loving and losing love. Musically, this song shows off just why AB won that award for Artist Of The Year. The track was produced and mixed by Drive By Truckers bassist Matt Patton and mixed and engineered by Starlin Browning. The music video, which was produced by Alabaster’s very own Jason Lockart, can be viewed below. Stay tuned for the whole EP Mix Tapes To Die To (Side A) dropping April 18, 2025.
Beats creator Kintellect has dropped another fantastic mix of his creative endeavors. This 23 song collection feels like the cinematic soundscape of a futuristic Tarantino film and we love it. Check out one of the songs, “Titan” below.

The Grey Agents have dropped another single as part of their comeback from the depths of their slumber as a band. This new single “The Only One” would fill at home on a Springsteen album as far as the sound and instrumentation goes. “I wrote the lyrics about my wife,” says singer/guitarist Brian Cottrill, “and I knew The Grey Agents would be the perfect band to record it.” Drummer Bob Workman adds, “It has a Motown chorus and a rock verse.” “I sang high harmony with Brian and added some saxophone leads,” said Phil Wyatt. Listen to it below and go for a drive.

The Soda Pop Gypsies released a new song today entitled “Front Seat Reflections.” The opening of the song had us waiting for Layne Staley to drop a vocal, but powerhouse vocalist Jamie Kittle did a fantastic job where he would’ve been. As the song continues we felt like we were in our bedroom listening in the dark to a new alt rock band we found at The Wall in the mid 90’s. This is a great place to start to check out The Soda Pop Gypsies if you haven’t yet.
