Dinosaur Burps have dropped their full length album “Intergalactic Critter Dinner.” This 10 track project shows off why these guys are one of the best in WV Hip Hop. The southern stylings of this group has you feeling like you’re at the family reunion while siting on a big porch and drinking a fat cup of sweet tea. The album is available at their BandCamp and will hit streaming this Friday. Listen to “Driftwood” from the album which released earlier this year.

Last years winner of best Funk or R&B album for the Born & Bred awards, Space Freq have just dropped a full length album “Frequencies Of The Ether.” If you’re looking for a psychedelic escape from the holidays, this is what you’re needing. This three piece band fills up a lot of space with their trippy sound that makes you feel like it’s a summer music festival all year long. Check out “Spacetripper” below.

A Blue Shell Paradox released a Christmas inspired track, “I Won’t Be Home For Christmas.” The song describes the conflict so many feel during the holidays. Internal conflicts that make us feel like withdrawing from the ones we love and isolating ourselves. It’s not your typical Christmas song but captures how many struggle through the season. Listen to it below.

No Place Else has released a single, “The Better Parts.” This emo punk track would be right at home on an early Fall Out Boy album and that’s a good thing. Punk with heavy parts and lead guitar that’s actually saying something is always needed in the rock scene. These guys delivered on this track. Turn it up loud and think about Warped Tour. You’ll be happier for it. Listen below.

Speaking of some the best in West Virginia to do hip hop, Duck City Music dropped a new single “We Gets Busy.” This old school sounding track shows off why these guys are considered godfathers of the WV rap scene. They along with others are showing off another aspect of what is helping to put the mountain state on the radars of music fans and execs. Check out the track below.
