Happening this Saturday in Shinnston, West Virginia, The Shindy Music Festival is a showcase of some of the best talent in the mountain state. In its second year the music festival has built upon the successful first year by bringing back a few acts from 2023 and a slew of new bands for 2024.
The bands Heavy Hitters, The Moon My Twin, AM Benson, and Ryan Cain return in year two while adding Verdeant Band, Samuel James, Khegan McLane, Annie Neeley, Sam Eplin and headliner Alabaster Boxer. The festival also sees a greatly expanded roster of vendors over the previous year with over twenty signed up to participate on August 3rd.
Shindy is free to attend and concert goers are welcome to bring coolers, chairs and blankets. The city pool, located beside the amphitheater will also be open for a fee of $6.
