Duck City Music is on quite the roll. They just took over NYC to hit up Sirius XM’s Shade 45 and are following that up by dropping their album “This Thing Of Ours” on their BandCamp which you can link to below. From their BC:
After years of working together on numerous tracks and videos, West Virginia MCs Duck City Music and Massachusetts producer DoomDaWiz finally collaborated on a full length project. This Thing Of Ours is a 10 track collection of boombap hip-hop that is very reminiscent of the golden age sound of the 1990s. Fans of classic, traditional Hip-Hop should take a liking to this.

Tyler Corbin has released his single Feelings & Faith. This singer-songwriter from southern West Virginia has a voice that is captivating and a storytelling ability that is often overlooked in songs of faith. This song highlights both and musically the song is equally moving. Listen to the track below.

Vito McCartney has released his first full length album “Storyteller” on all media platforms. Of the project. McCartney says on his Facebook, it was all recorded on 1960s style ribbon microphones while avoiding things like autotune to give the listener a pure experience. Auric Echoes have released the final single ahead of their full length release next Friday, July 12th. The track Multiplicity combined with the other two singles Body Song and Crash have us anticipating this full release. SMITH.b released a new single today featuring Pat the Azmatic. Speedy Thing Go In, Speedy Thing Come Out shows off some hip hop bars that highlight some of dirty south rap coming out of West Virginia. Check it out below.

Grind Mode Cypher dropped Ante Up 2 featuring multiple WV rap artists including Young Phenom, Nate Blakk, Travis Echols, Milla Mane, and Ndakut of Duck City Music. This consortium of rappers from across the state shows off why the WV hip hop scene is growing daily.
