Kenova’s Ginger Wixx is no stranger to the West Virginia music scene. She has played a lot of festivals and large shows that have given her a lot of attention across the region. But what’s been missing is the chance for people to hear her music outside of the live setting and now that drought has ended. She recently released her first EP, “Almost A Handful” to streaming. The five song collection is a fantastic introduction to this West Virginia Pop Artist. Two of the tracks are instrumental or interludes but the three tracks where Ginger shows off her vocal prowess put us in the mind of a mix of Lisa Loeb, Jewel, Sixpence None The Richer, and Billie Eilish.
