West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Cairo– North Bend State Park – The North Bend State Park Foundation presents the 30th Annual Bluegrass Festival this Friday and Saturday May 10 – 11. Performance las from Stoats and Vaugn and The Hillbilly Biscuits will highlight the weekend. Get your tickets for this two day celebration of bluegrass!


Morgantown – Tipsy Teeze – Clay Justice will perform this Saturday at 8 PM at the Teeze.
Charleston – The Empty Glass – Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns will perform this Friday at 9:30 PM. Sunday The Glass will have the Mountain Stage after party hosted by The Carpenter Ants.


Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – Thursday at 8 Pm The Hooten Hallers are in Thomas to perform. Friday The David Mayfield Parade will perform. Saturday go see The Suitcase Junket and Sunday The Elk River Ramblers will perform.
Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – METAL AND HARDCORE LIVE AT THE SHOP! Timeless Memory, Messenger, Vessel, and Violent Convictions, will be in Dubar This Saturday, May 11, 2024, 7 PM


Huntington – The Loud – Pet Bandana, Smith.b, and Code Red News will perform this Friday May 10 at 9 PM. Doors at 8. Broadberry Entertainment Group presents: Pecos & The Rooftops w/ Fox N’ Vead at The Loud, this Saturday, May 11, 2024. Doors at 8 PM, show at 9 PM
Elkins – Clementine’s Cantina – Marissa Mallow will perform live at Sippin’ Sundays from 4 – 6 on Sunday, May 12, 2024.


Morgantown – 123 Pleasant Street – 123 hosts Myspace Nite: A MySpace Era themed dance party Thursday at 8. Here’s to hoping Tom shows up.
Morgantown – The Encore – Get ready to shake a leg at the May Square Dance from Morgantown FOOTMAD! Caller is Steve Ballman, with music from the Morgantown Wednesday Night Old Time Jam. No experience necessary. Students $5, seniors $5, adults $7. Pay at the door.


Whitehall – Dark & Dusty Rec. Riders Tap House – The double d welcomes Landon McFadden on May 9th, Ben Benson on Friday, May 10, and Jamie Kittle on May 11. All shows begin at 7 PM.
Charleston – Mountain Stage – Culture Center Theater welcomes Mountain Stage as they host Suzy Bogguss, Stephane Wrembel, Mama’s Broke, Denitia, and Goldpine this Mother’s Day, May 12 at 7:00 Charleston,WV.
