All Together Arts Week kicks off this Friday, May 3rd and runs to May 10th! Join them in celebrating the vibrant creative scene all over Mercer County. Kick off the Summer Festival Season this first weekend in May in Albright at 30th annual Cheat River Festival. This fest is an initiative of The Friends of the Cheat that aim to keep the cheat a beautiful location in West Virginia. Closing out the first month of summer music festival season will be The Mountain Music Festival happening May 30 – June 1 at ACE Adventure at the New River Gorge. Cool Ridge, WV will once again be host to WVPUBFEST on May 18th. The lineup is a collection of amazing music with performances from Aaron Beam & The Do-Gooders, Alabaster Boxer, Blue Twisted Steel, Ginger Wixx, Emmalea Deal & The Hotmess, Makenna Hope and too many more to list here. All Good Presents the annual 4848 Festival at Snowshoe, happening July 18-20. The lineup features Greensky Bluegrass, The Flaming Lips, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway and several others over the two days. Go to 4848festival.com for tickets.

The 7th Annual WV Homegrown Harvest Fest is happening July 26-27 at Silver Lake Park in Eglon, WV. The lineup features The Settlement, Acid Mind Drainage, BrassTaxx, and many more. Check out their Facebook Group for more info.

Shinnston will host the second annual Shindy Music Festival at the Ferguson Memorial Park amphitheater on August 3rd. The lineup includes performances from Alabaster Boxer, The Heavy Hitters, The Moon My Twin, Annie Neely, Sam Eplin, Khegan McLane, AM Benson & The Stations and many more! This fest is free to attend. Grooving with the Grove 7 is happening August 23 + 24, 2024 in Albright, WV. The annual fest will feature performances from Fletcher’s Grove, Dizgo, Sexbruise? Healing Appalachia returns to the state fairgrounds of West Virginia on Septmeber 19 – 21. While the lineup hasn’t been announced we already know you’re not going to want to miss this show. It has become one of the premier festivals in the state shining a light in the darkness of the drug epidemic in WV. Stay tuned to their socials and check Healingappalachia.org for more info.

Downtown Morgantown is home to the craziest festival in WV, Fuzzfest. While they haven’t announces their lineup yet this show has traditionally packed around 50 bands into venues throughout downtown. They have announced their date and it will be one you want to save, September 28, 2024. Stay tuned to their Facebook for more info.

Huntington will be bringing the funk once again as Funktafest returns October 10, 2024. Their lineup announcement will happen May 24 at The Loud with performances from DJ Charlie Blac, Lancelott, and Quortz. Check out their website www.funktafest.com for more info.

One to be watching for is the Huntington Music & Arts Festival. There is no information available for 2024 yet, but it happened in September of 2023. Stay tuned to their socials for announcements. We will update as more info becomes available.

Multifest out of Charleston is celebrating their 34th festival! Happening Thursday through Sunday, August 1-4, the fest features performances from Ginuwine, Brian McKnight, Monie Love and many more. Check out their website at Multifest.org.
