West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Clarksburg – The Robinson Grand – The Born & Bred Concert Series returns for it’s 6th show at The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center! The show will feature performances from The Bob Thompson Unit, The Heavy Hitters, Creek Don’t Rise, and special guest Lady D with host The Appalachian Soul Man – Aristotle Jones. Morgantown – Tipsy Teeze – JefFBI and The Fugitives perform at the Teeze on Friday at 8 PM. Saturday country artist Ashley Best takes to the Davisson Brothers Music Hall at TT 8 PM.
Charleston – The Empty Glass – Evie Schaffer will be making her debut at The Empty Glass Friday at 10 PM. Grace Campbell plays the Glass Saturday at 10.


Thomas – The Purple Fiddle –The Lords of Lester perform Thursday at 8 PM. Illiterate Light will be at the Fiddle this Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM.
Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Baked Shrimp brings their Album Release Tour (self-titled) to Dunbar, WV on January 19th! The high-octane power trio will be releasing their 4th studio LP this coming January. 8 PM


Huntington – The Loud – This Friday at 9 PM, The Loud welcomes Jim Polak with The Wearing Hands and Corey Zornes. Saturday Local Honey, Kindred Valley and George William Thomas play The Loud at 9 PM.
Fayetteville – The Freefolk Brewery – Grayson Samples will perform live at Freefolk at 6 PM on Saturday, January 20th.


Morgantown – 123 Pleasant Street – This Saturday, Chicago based Live Electronic Percussionist Cofresi returns to the 123 stage. Dj sets from Kitana, Battery Low, Ol’ Boy Entertainment, feat Dr Purp + Calico. Flow performances by The Wick Witches. Music starts at 9pm. $15adv/$20dos 18+
