West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Clarksburg – The Robinson Grand – Tenor Anthony Nunziata returns to Clarksburg with his critically-acclaimed Together for Christmas concert tour crooning your favorite Christmas songs, as well as classic pop standards, Italian arias and his timeless original music. Together for Christmas features special guests Amici, Benjamin DeFazio, and Marissa Bailey.

Morgantown – Tipsy Teeze – Tipsy Teeze featuring The Davisson Brother Music Hall welcomes the Davisson Brothers this Saturday December 16th at the Teeze. 8:00 pm
Charleston – The Empty Glass – Moonshine Jasmine and The Stolas Project will play the Glass this Saturday December 16th at 9:30 PM.
Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – Oyo and Heather Hannah will be at the Fiddle on Friday at 8:30 PM performing and on Saturday The Dirty Grass Players will be on the stage in Thomas.
Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Friday at 8 PM Dale and the ZDubs and Space Freq will be at The Shop. And Saturday Rumpke Mountain Boys play at 5 PM.
Morgantown – The Metropolitan Theater kicks off it’s packed out weekend of shows with Charles Wesley Godwin. Tonight sees the first of four shows featuring the hometown country star. Thursday through Sunday with each night hosting a different act to open.
Huntington – The Loud – This Friday at 8 PM Nolan Taylor with support from Nic Allen & The Troubled Minds and The Dead Frets. Saturday at 9 they welcome The Settlement with Pet Bandana.
Morgantown – The Encore – Sunday at 2 PM, The Encore hosts a The PopShop Winter Solstice show featuring performances from their students that make up 10 bands.
Fayetteville – The Freefolk Brewery – Justin Moyat will perform live at Freefolk at 6 PM on Saturday, December 16th.
Morgantown – 123 Pleasant Street – Saturday, December 16th at 8 PM Levi Texas and Ryan Cain with The National Miners and Gray Buchanan take the stage at 123.
Bridgeport – Music on Main welcomes The West Virginia Jazz Society (WVJS) as they host a “jazz club experience” during the second annual Holiday Jazz Matinee on Sunday, December 17. 3pm, the Tania Grubbs Quartet will present a special program of classic jazz and jazzified holiday songs performed in an intimate nightclub style.
