West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Clarksburg – The Robinson Grand – This Saturday at The RG, Let’s Groove Tonight will be live at 7 PM. On Sunday a Community Christmas Concert featuring The Shinnston Community Band will take place at 3 PM.

Morgantown – Tipsy Teeze – Tipsy Teeze featuring The Davisson Brother Music Hall welcomes Grace Campbell & Good Company on Friday at 8 PM and Tucker Knisell this Saturday at 8 PM.

Charleston – The Empty Glass – Ashley Best & The Set ‘Em Up Band will play the Glass this Saturday December 9th at 10 PM.

Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – The Davisson Brothers will be at the Fiddle on Friday at 8:30 PM performing a semi-acoustic show and on Saturday Twisted Pine will be on the stage in Thomas.

Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Friday at 8 PM Dale and the ZDubs and Space Freq will be at The Shop.

Morgantown – The Metropolitan Theater welcomes comedian Jeff Allen and his “Are We There Yet” tour to their stage in Morgantown. 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 7.

Huntington – The Loud – This Friday at 9 PM Wyze presents: Melt, Static Fur and Killa Kaiju at 9 PM. Saturday at 9 they welcome Grown Ass Folks.

Morgantown – The Encore – Saturday at 7:30 PM, The Encore hosts a Holiday Square Dance from Morgantown Friends of Old Time Music & Dance featuring the music of Kennedy Barn String Time Band.

Fayetteville – The Freefolk Brewery – Alexander Nicole will perform live at Freefolk at 6 PM on Saturday December 9.
