West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Clarksburg – The Robinson Grand – This Saturday at The RG, West Virginia’s own Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr brings his “Home for the Holidays” to headline Clarksburg’s Winterfest at 7 PM Sunday they host A Motown Christmas at 4 PM.

Morgantown – Tipsy Teeze – Tipsy Teeze featuring The Davisson Brother Music Hall welcomes Hambone Wilson on Friday at 8 PM and Zona Hester this Saturday at 8 PM.

Charleston – The Empty Glass – Bastard Bearded Irishmen with special guest Unmanned will play the Glass this Saturday December 2nd at 10 PM. $10 in advance $15 at the door. 21+

Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – Scott Miller will be at the Fiddle on Friday at 8:30 PM and on Saturday the Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns will be on the stage in Thomas.

Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Saturday at 7 PM Richard Lloyd Group of Television and Static Fur will be at The Shop.

Bridgeport – Music On Main – Sunday at MOM, Songs & Stories will return to Bridgeport at 3 PM. Doors at 2:30 PM. $10 Entry

Huntington – The Loud – This Friday, Massing, Cutler Station and Friendly Fire will be at The LOUD Friday, December 1st. Doors at 8. Show at 9. Saturday at 6:30 PM they will host the Honky Tonk Toydrive featuring performances from Jake Kohn, Ginger Wixx, Dark Moon Hollow, Sean Whiting, Makenna Hope, Shelby Lore and Khegan McLane

Morgantown – The Encore – Friday at 7 PM, The Encore hosts a Stepping Stones Christmas Fundraiser featuring Adrian & The Soul Miners. Sunday at 4 PM they host Al Anderson & Soul Revue + Lady D’s “Those Who Came Before” film.

Fayetteville – The Freefolk Brewery – Chris Murray will perform live at Freefolk at 6 PM on Saturday December 2.
