West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Lewisburg – Healing Appalachia – Healing Appalachia kicks off tonight with a free Recovery Celebration that will see John Inghram Band, Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns, Stereophonic, and Kindred Valley kick things off before the paid portions begins tomorrow. the weekend will see performances from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Govt Mule, Trey Anastasio and Tyler Childers.

Shinnston – Shinnston Rollin’ Brews – SRB kicks off their second year this Saturday at Ferguson Memorial Park at 3 PM. Thirty-two locally brewed ales and ciders on tap as well as music from Last Year’s Model, Heavy Hitters, and Brandon Wood.

Morgantown – 123 Pleasant St. – The Hillbilly Biscuits & Friends will take the stage at 123 this Friday, September 22nd at 8PM.

Charleston – The Empty Glass – Razorblade & Constant Hell w/Rockwell’s Ghost & Dragged will be in Charleston this Friday at 8 PM.

Huntington – The LOUD – Friday, September 22nd, Turbo Nut, The Wearing Hands and Trevors Lightning Project will be at the LOUD at 8PM

Bridgeport – Farmers Market – The Farmers Market Music Tent will host The Masons at the Market this Sunday, September 24th at 10 AM.

Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – This Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM the Fiddle will host The Commonheart.

Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Saturday at 8 PM THE SHOP welcomes FallFiftyFeet & Retribution w/Duly and Down To Fate.

Morgantown – The Encore – September 22nd at 8PM The Encore welcomes Barn Dog Philharmonic to their stage in Morgantown.
