West Virginia has a lot of opportunities to support original creative music throughout the state. Take the chance to get out of your house and go support live music and venues this weekend.

Clarksburg – The West Virginia Black Heritage Festvial – The West Virginia Black Heritage Festival will be happening Saturday, September 9th 12 AM – 10:30 featuring music from some tribute bands, Kurtis Blow and Byron Cooper.

Clarksburg – The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center – The 4th installment of The Born & Bred Concert Series returns to its home at the Robinson Grand, this coming Saturday, September 9th, featuring performances from John Inghram, The Lords of Lester, Corduroy Brown and pre-show performances from A.M Benson, Evan Ferrell, and Meadow Run.

Morgantown – 123 Pleasant St. – Kassi Valazza with Camille Wind Weatherford (of The Lostines) and Grace Campbell take the stage at 123 this Friday at 8 PM.

Charleston – The Empty Glass – Golden with Routine Days and PRSCTT this FridaySeptember 8th at 9 PM!

Huntington – The LOUD – This Sunday, alt rock legends Dinosaur Jr. will be at The Loud. Doors at 7. Show at 8 PM.

Bridgeport – Farmers Market – The Farmers Market Music Tent will host Jim Truman will be at the Market this Sunday, September 10th at 10 AM.

Thomas – The Purple Fiddle – Friday, The Jesse Milnes Band, with special guest Rebecca Wudarski will be making a stop in Thomas at The Purple Fiddle. Saturday they host Kassi Valazza.

Dunbar – Live at THE SHOP – Yam Yam will be Live At The Shop this Friday at 8 PM.
