Chandler Beavers, who is part of Southern West Virginia’s Alabaster Boxer, released a solo project called 4:09 on Friday, and we can’t stop listening to it. This album is full of traditional folk and bluegrass inspiration with Beavers approach to those styles.

There are a few tracks that feature vocal contributions, but the musical tracks are where Chandler and his contributing friends really shine. Some of the tracks feel like a bluegrass soundtrack to an epic feature film. If you’re wanting some good bluegrass to get you through your summer this is the right place to start. Also, check out Alabaster Boxers Currency of Dreams which released in April. 4:09 is available everywhere you stream music.
