The event takes place over three days, September 21-23 at the West Virginia State Fairground in Lewisburg.

According to their website, Healing Appalachia was created to produce events that help bring the communities of healing together. They raise funds and awareness to help combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects and programs from youth prevention, healthy lifestyles and wellness to recovery houses and recovery to work. Described as a Farm Aid like event for recovery, they aim to bring people together to shine a spotlight on the need for healing in Appalachia. This event helps with year round efforts to do just that.
