Bleach has been back on the road for a few weeks now, shaking off the dust and settling into a run of shows. Tomorrow, July 18, the tour rolls into The Loud in Huntington, and this one hits different, not because it’s a comeback or a finale, but because it’s home turf for bassist Jerry Morrison. Born & Bred will be there covering the night, the crowd, and the lineup: Keep Warm, Hello June, John Reuben, and a special guest. This sixth stop of the tour promises to be a great night.

Jerry’s First Huntington Show Since ’99
Jerry didn’t try to dress it up when we talked: this show matters to him. It’s been decades since he’s played a hometown set, and the timing lines up with him moving back to Huntington this fall.
“I am very excited to be back in Huntington to play a rock and roll show. I haven’t played a show there since the summer of 99, right before I jumped in the van with these dudes and ended up moving to Nashville.“

“This show is also important for me personally as I am moving back to town this fall. I love this community and I am excited to be a touring musician and comedian and doing it all from a place that I love so much.”
This night will be a mix of nostalgia and someone coming back and plugging into the place that he calls home.

The Lineup
Keep Warm brings the slow‑burn indie stuff that always lands well here.
Hello June adds their alt folk rock that fills a room without trying.
John Reuben is… well, John Reuben: never boring, always sideways in the right way.
And a special guest… we have no clue.
A First Listen at the New Recordings
We got to hear three tracks from the re‑recorded collection Bleach has been working on. The originals span different eras of the band, but the new versions feel like they belong together. They have an updated production, tighter arrangements, and a tone that makes them sound like they’re from the same new album instead of three different decades. It’s familiar without being stuck in the past.

See You at The Loud
Bleach is already plugging along with this tour. They’re warmed up, dialed in, and playing like a band that’s happy to be doing it again. Jerry’s back in a city he hasn’t played since ’99. The lineup is full of regional artists who make sense together. And the crowd will be full of people who remember, or people who are just now catching on.
It’s a good night for a Loud show. Simple as that.
