Shinnston, WV – B&B Records, a new artist‑first label founded by Brendan Gallagher of Born & Bred Music and frontman of Last Year’s Model, officially announces its launch. Built on the same foundation of transparency, collaboration, and community that defines Born & Bred Music, B&B Records represents a natural progression of Gallagher’s ongoing work to elevate West Virginia artists and strengthen the region’s creative ecosystem.
B&B Records was created around a simple truth: artists deserve champions who protect their voice, not reshape it. The label operates with a commitment to trust, clarity, and the belief that music thrives when creators retain full ownership of their stories. Unlike traditional label models, B&B Records does not claim masters, publishing, or merchandise rights. Instead, it provides strategic support, fundraising guidance, promotional resources, and long‑term partnership while ensuring artists remain fully independent.
“B&B Records is an extension of everything we’ve been building at Born & Bred Music,” said Gallagher. “It’s about giving West Virginian artists the support they deserve without asking them to sacrifice control of their art. This label is here to walk beside musicians, not above them.”
The label’s mission centers on helping artists fund and release their projects through collaborative efforts such as Kickstarter campaigns, merch fulfillment, and sustained album promotion.
