Shinnston – The City of Shinnston is proud to announce the lineup for The Shindy Music Festival. The festival returns for year two with a condensed schedule running for one day on Saturday, August 3rd. Born & Bred is proud to be a sponsor of the festival and the exclusive outlet to announce the lineup of the free to attend fest. So without further ado, let’s get into it.
Entertaining crowds on our side stage throughout the day will be alt folk rockers, Verdeant Band. This duo recently released their first EP “Wild Lullabies” and will be performing their original music on the Shindy side stage.


Kicking off Shindy 2024 is Country Artist A.M. Benson & The Stations. This group of musicians is known for their sad country roots and storytelling.
One of the acts returning for 2024 is rockabilly legend Ryan Cain. Cain is known for his crowd pleasing vintage rock & roll.


Khegan McLane & The Raccoon Wranglers are known for their storytelling. The 2023 Born & Bred Country Artist of the year will be a crowd favorite at Shindy.
Punk rockers Emmalea Deal & The Hot Mess return for Shindy. After wowing the crowd last year it was inevitable they’d be back.


Regional favorites The Heavy Hitters are coming back to the area. This funk group has amassed a large following with festival appearances and Shindy is excited to have them back!
Rising star Sam Eplin will be gracing the Shindy stage. Sam has had several successful appearances at festivals and has had hundred of thousands of views on his internet content.


Samuel James is another rising star in the state with his accessible country sound. Samuel James will be joining Shindy coming off the release of his summer time sounding single “Savannah.”
Shindy is excited to welcome West Virginia music legend Annie Neeley to the Amphitheater located at Ferguson Memorial Park in Shinnston.


Powerhouse rock act The Moon My Twin returns to Shindy after a performance that brought down the house last year. This trio from Thomas is a must see.
Headlining Shindy 2024 are Born & Bred 2023 Folk Artist of the Year, Alabaster Boxer! This group put on a high energy show. They released their album “Currency of Dreams” last summer, just recorded their first live album, and have just come out of the studio to record new music. They are one to watch and will be continuing to make an impact across the region in 2024!
