The Born & Bred Concert Series had another incredible night at The Robinson Grand last Saturday with an incredible lineup of West Virginia talent. Thanks to our photographer TZM Photo for capturing these shots.
At The Born & Bred Concert Series, music hits your ears as soon as you enter the lobby of The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center and this time it was none other than The Stolas Project. The VIP Lounge enjoyed a set by Ashley Renae while concert hall warmed up Samuel James. The show was kicked off by host Appalachian Soul Man Aristotle Jones and his band with another guest appearance from The RG’s Jason Young on Jones’ original song West Virginia Hills. Additionally, Jones was joined onstage by Lady D for a cover of Tennessee Whiskey.

Marcus Oglesby of Creek Don’t Rise performed his brand of southern blues to a very welcoming crowd.

The Heavy Hitters brought their brand of funk to the Born & Bred stage and tore the stage up!

The Bob Thompson Unit capped off the evening with a master course in jazz. His band was joined by Lady D as she once again wowed the crowd with her powerful vocal.

Be sure to get your tickets for the next Born & Bred Concert Series happening March 23 featuring Philip Bowen, Adrian Michael, and Grace Campbell at The Robinson Grand.
