Clarksburg, WV – The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center, in partnership with Clarksburg based R & A Ministries, is bringing the God, Family, n’ Chicken Wings Comedy Tour with Tim Shropshire to downtown Clarksburg on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the historic Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center located at 444 W. Pike St. in Clarksburg, WV.
Born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, Tim Shropshire is the bearded, country, family man everyone has grown to love. Raised in “old school” church culture, Tim is one of the most hilarious “church kids” turned internet sensation.
“We are working with a brand new local promoter for this show,” said Jason A Young, the Robinson Grand’s program manager. “We’re excited for Tim Shrop to be on our Grand stage; clean comedy is such a win-win for our community.”
Tim Shropshire discovered he had an affective sense of humor as a junior in high school, when he made the older guys laugh. This survival tactic stayed with him as he want to play collegiate football at North Carolina A&T State University. Tim has toured nationally with gospel legend Pastor John P. Kee on both his ‘Level Next” and “Change the World” tours.
After countless days of thinking about writing jokes and skits, from the comfort of his work desk, Tim made the crazy decision to take a leap of faith and do comedy full-time. Since then Tim has broken the internet with his home videos that have been viewed over 50 million times, throughout social platforms. This led to collaborations with notable brands such as the one and holy Chick-fil-A. Currently, Tim’s focus is to continue to trust God on this journey and welcome his first some “2nd Timothy” to the world.
