Shinnston, WVThe Shindy Music Festival happens this Saturday at Ferguson Memorial Park located in the hills of Shinnston, West Virginia. Shindy was created by The City of Shinnston to focus on the wealth of artistic talent in the mountain state. Every artist featured on the stage is Born & Bred here in WV and we are proud to be a sponsor of this one day festival along with The Harrison County Cultural Foundation and The Harrison County Commission.

The festival begins at 1 PM and runs until 10 PM and will feature vendors, food trucks and bounce houses for children provided by Cartoon Headquarters.

Check out our preview of who’s playing this Saturday.

Co-headlining Shindy is Corduroy Brown. He has had a string of hit songs and will also be taking the stage at Healing Appalachia in September. Check out his song “Doin My Best.”

Also, co-headlining Shindy is returning artist Alabaster Boxer. This six piece will close out the evening with their raucous folk rock.

Joining the lineup is Jazz-Americana group A Tale Of Two. This award winning duo has been touring all over the country sharing their powerful storytelling with their fans.

Grace Campbell is an artist that is full steam ahead as she has won awards and shared stages with some major artists throughout the region. We excited for her band to rock the stage.

Last Year’s Model is a group that blends 80s new wave, 90s alternative with a story telling driven narrative with a high energy show. Listen to their newest track “Old Days” below.

Thank you to our sponsor The Gillum House.

Never Zero is an alt rock group that captured the heart of 90s rock and made it brand new for 2025.

Kurt Shultis is one we’ve deemed as an artist to watch. He blends storytelling with powerful narratives and fantastic music.

We think Jamie Lester is one of the best storytellers in the state and possibly the country. If you’ve never taken time with his music, this Saturday will be a great introduction.

Kicking off the day are newcomers and a band that is garnering a lot of attention Andrew Parson & Seneca. These guys are a fantastic show and will be headlining festivals and tours before you know it. Come see them so you can say “I saw them when…”
