Hunting based Massing is saving your butt this Valentine’s Day with the gift of music! We talked to Heath from Massing about their original music sale, where you can have a song crafted to tell your loved one how you feel, or you can talk about how much you like ice cream if you choose. Read on to see what you need to do to get your love turned into a song.

Heath Holley: Back in 2020 when we lost our jobs and had nothing better to do with our time, we came up with the idea of Massing’s Big A** Song Sale, where we would charge people an incredibly small fee ($20 at the time) for us to write, record, mix, and master a 30-60 second song about whatever they wanted. 

Over the course of that whole year, we ended up doing over 150 of those, and they can all be listened to and downloaded for free on our Bandcamp.

It’s been about 5 years since we started that, and we’ve been looking for an excuse to resurrect it, because we look back on it very fondly as a time when we got to spend a whole year goofing off in our own weird songwriting boot camp. 

So leading up to this Valentine’s Day, we’re bringing it back for a super limited time. With it being so limited, and with our time being more precious than it was back in 2020, we’ve had to up the prices a bit to make it worth it to us. But we think it’s most definitely worth it to anyone wanting to give a unique gift on Valentine’s Day. We should also mention, it’s not exclusive to Valentine’s Day themes! If you want a song about your pet rat going to the moon, we would be absolutely honored to write that song. 

For $60 you can get an acoustic song. For $100 you can get a “full band” song, where Robb and Heath will be fully producing it with drums, guitar, keys, you name it. And for $120, you get a full band song + a merch bundle that includes a t-shirt, stickers, and 2 packs of Valentine’s Day themed Massing Trading Cards.
